Matt Ashmore purchases a building for a permanent location

Eagle Printing and Sign partnered with NEDCO to purchase a building for office space in downtown Lincoln. The business was located elsewhere downtown but the City of Lincoln needed the building for another project. With NEDCO’s help, Eagle Printing was able to turn an unfortunate situation into a positive one. The bigger space allows for a better layout that will decrease production time, increase efficiency and provide the opportunity for more jobs. Creating more jobs and job retention is an important factor in with the SBA Loan’s encouragement of economic development.

Owner, Matt Ashmore, has been working at the business since the days of flannels and grunge music when his parents owned and operated the business. He ran the printing press and gained experience in all aspects of the business. Matt has since taken over the store, running the day to day operations, adding revenue, decreasing costs and has grown from 8 employees to 15. The business does traditional printing services, graphic design services and is able to print on paper, vinyl, metal, wood and other mediums. The company also provides full mailing services and sign installation.

Partnering with NEDCO and the SBA 504 loan program was key in the purchase of Eagle’s new building in downtown Lincoln. Now Eagle has a permanent home and is up and running! The fixed-interest rate with this loan ensures that there won’t be any unexpected rate increases in the future.
